Hex head self-tapping screws with washers are fasteners widely used across various industries. They require no pre-drilling and can be easily and quickly installed into materials such as metal or wood.

Roof screws with washers come in three head types: self-tapping, cutting, and rolled. If the screw head is pointed, it's a cutting type—threads are formed in a pre-drilled hole through tapping. If the screw head is flat, it's a rolled type—threads are formed by rolling or extrusion, creating zero clearance between the screw and the material.

EPDM washers offer excellent water resistance, crucial for outdoor applications where moisture protection is extremely important, such as metal roofs or wall panels.

Our most commonly used hex head self-tapping screws are made of C1022A steel, but depending on environmental requirements, stainless steel is also used to ensure strength. For surface treatments, we offer galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, Dacromet coating, or nickel plating. For harsh environments, we use hot-dip galvanizing or Dacromet coating to improve corrosion resistance.

Common applications include plywood, fiberglass, polycarbonate, and cast or forged materials such as cast iron, aluminum, brass, or bronze, for fixing aluminum profiles, securing metal brackets to wood, or screwing screws into plastic housings. HVAC systems: used for connecting pipes and securing components in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. Automotive assembly: used in automotive assembly and repair to secure various panels and components. General construction: used in general construction and manufacturing sectors where strong, reliable, and potentially weather-resistant connections are required.
