Product Description

We manufacture screws since 2000, with many years experience, providing different kinds of package as our customers' requirements. Our screw factory is located in Tianjin city, as a professional hardware manufacturer, we always put our eyes on the quality, output 1200tons per month.

Hex head screws with washers and a Type 17 point are self-tapping fasteners primarily used for metal-to-wood connections, such as fastening metal roofing or siding panels to a wood frame. The Type 17 point features a spiral drill-like design with chip removal flutes, effectively clearing wood chips and eliminating the need for pre-drilling in most types of wood.

This hexagonal head screw with washer features a 17mm taper tip design and is a type of hexagonal screw fastener, also known as a steel roofing screw. It's primarily used for joining metal and wood, such as securing metal roofs or wall panels to a wooden frame. The 17mm taper tip uses a spiral drill-like design with a chip groove for effective sawdust removal, significantly improving work efficiency.

Compared to ordinary screws, it offers many advantages, such as high toughness, easy maintenance, and long-lasting stability after installation. It uses a safe punching and tapping method, allowing for one-step installation, simplifying operation and eliminating the need for pre-drilling.

The screw features an EPDM rubber seal, providing excellent weather resistance and water resistance.

During production, it is available with coarse or uneven threads to provide good grip and pull-out strength when used with wood substrates.

This screw is mainly used for: Metal roofs and wall panels: Primarily used to secure metal panels to wooden purlins or cladding, with the washer providing a reliable weatherproof seal.

Framed Structures: These are commonly used for joining metal and timber in pole barns and other framed structures.

Pavilions and Fences: Type 17 threaded tips and strong threads are ideal for patio and fence construction, ensuring a secure connection and preventing timber splitting.
